    An exciting role within the Tiffany EMEA Ecommerce team, the Online Merchandising Coordinator will be responsible for maximizing conversion and retention across our 6 websites with a particular focus on Germany. This position will oversee site product merchandising and associated operations to ensure that the Tiffany customer has the best possible experience when shopping online. The role will also support the building of a SEO strategy for the German market to effectively drive quality and relevant traffic.


    The Online Merchandising Coordinator is a dynamic and attentive individual who is adept at relationship building with internal and external clients, and a strong, decisive team player that locally builds a climate of service excellence by maximizing the performance of their area. 



    • Ensuring product categories are appropriately populated and merchandised on our websites, working with content management systems and in collaboration with NY teams.
    • Reviewing and updating online stock and deliver feedback to Regional Merchandising team to maximise product allocations and inventory levels.
    • Selecting collections and products to be promoted on seasonal gift guides and taking a supporting role in all merchandising operations and projects.
    • Driving sales through web store management of key SKU’s and Collections


    • Take a supporting role in global ecommerce projects with a particular focus on the German market.
    • Support the Ecommerce Lead with the global website development road map ensuring functionality is in line with regional site needs.
    • Provide country and language specific digital trends which meet business objectives and audience demographics.
    • Constantly look for new opportunities and regularly make suggestions to the Ecommerce Lead as to how things can be improved.


    • Supporting the Digital Marketing Lead to build the SEO strategy for the German market to effectively drive quality and relevant traffic.
    • Site functionality:
    • Monitoring DE site functionality on a daily basis and reporting issues to the Ecommerce Lead.
    • Overseeing and continuing to optimise Onsite Search functionality for the German Website and support all other sites


    Tracking and Reporting:

    • Identify and agree strategic KPIs with the Ecommerce Lead and ensure that all ecommerce activity is thoroughly and accurately tracked and reported on in a timely manner in order to make use of roll out opportunities and efficiencies.
    • Produce tactical analysis on an ‘as and when required’ basis.
    • Deliver insights and actionable outputs utilising Adobe Analytics and internal Tiffany systems.



    • Work closely with other Tiffany & Co. departments - especially Marketing and Ecommerce teams in NY, Regional Merchandising teams and the Distribution Centre - to ensure that ecommerce activity is delivered in line with set processes and procedures and in accordance with regional strategies, goals and objectives.
    • Work well on own initiative but also be a fully committed team player and engender respect and support from other members of the global business.
    • Contribute to the overall mission of the department.



    • Maintain a high level of knowledge of ecommerce, digital and analytics related activity and be aware of industry developments and innovations.
    • Be acutely aware of competitor activity and poised at all times to capitalise on opportunity and repel threats.


    • Passion for Ecommerce and Online Merchandising
    • At least 2 years experience in a results driven multi-channel ecommerce environment.
    • University degree
    • German Speaker
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills
    • Strong Excel knowledge (pivots and v-look up)
    • Experience of using content management systems, either proprietary or bought in.
    • Great attention to detail and highly organised
    • Strong communication and project management skills.
    • Strong knowledge of ecommerce and digital marketing disciplines, channels and platforms.
    • Strong understanding of all online KPIs controlling performance and ROI.
    • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative.
    • Team player.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise.
    • Commercially minded and extremely driven.
    • Working knowledge of HTML is a plus.
    • Experience of using analytical tools e.g. Omniture, is prefered.
